Diagnosis: Tentorial Mengioma – case submitted by radRounds member Araceli Cabanillas
Findings: Rounded enhancing mass located in the infratentorial region as demonstrated on above coronal head CT with contrast scans. Relatively homogeneously enhancing lesion is identified with moderate mass effect.
Teaching points: Tentorial meningiomas are relatively uncommon lesions located along the tentorium, adjacent to the cerebellum. These types of lesions that are characterized as posterior fossa meningiomas can result in headaches, seizures, or gait abnormalities.
