- California – #1 with an annual mean salary of over $86K
- Hawaii – #2 with an annual mean salary of over $82K
- Washington DC – #3 with an annual mean salary of over $79K
- Massachusetts – #4 with an annual mean salary of over $78K
- Alaska – #5 with an annual mean salary of over $76K
