(LA TIMES AND WALL STREET JOURNAL) – A photo gallery shows the life of coronavirus heroes, the Nurses. The nurses are on the frontlines, literally just inches and closer to patients than anyone else as they do their job day in and day out. The area under the curve of the surge or flattened curve for time spent with exposure to the virus is filled with nurse exposure time. Per a recent WSJ article by Paul Dohrenwend, “They marinate in risk as they spend more time than anyone else tending to patients”
Nurses work to obtain blood samples, provide needed medications, and tend to their patients’ needs. Vital team member on any patient’s care team, nurses risk their own safety and that of their family’s to take care of everyone – no matter who walks in the door or is admitted to their ICU or ER. A photo gallery from the Los Angeles Times reveals just a snapshot of the lives of nurses now during the pandemic of 2020.
