Morton neuroma: Known as an interdigital or intermetatarsal neuroma. These lesions are focal changes in soft tissues, symptomatic perineural fibrosis around a plantar digital nerve found in the foot. Morton neuromas are likely to be due to chronic entrapment of the nerve by the intermetatarsal ligament.
