Diagnosis: Aspirated tooth seen in nasopharynx
Modality: CT
Findings: On sagittal CT of the neck, there is a tooth visualized within the posterior nasopharynx.
Key Points: Often times aspirated teeth can be seen in the oropharynx, nasopharynx, central airways — it is key to identify if there are any foreign bodies or teeth in a patient with respiratory distress or recent intubation.
