Diagnosis: Aqueductal stenosis
Findings: There is extensive dilation of the lateral and third ventricles seen on this axial MRI image demonstrating aqueductal stenosis.
Key Points: MRI can demonstrate the significant enlargement of the lateral and third ventricles with funneling. 4th ventricle is typically not dilated. There may be a tumor or web that could be commonly causing obstruction.
